Paediatric Cardiac Surgery

The ‘Healing Little Hearts’ team led by Salim Jivanji has visited Kisii and Nairobi, in particular the MP Shah hospital. Catherine Kilcoyne reported on the cardiac screening, operations and Grand Rounds which have taken place. Jeremy Lefroy had the privilege of visiting the MP Shah Hospital in November 2022 and seeing this wonderful team of Kenyan and international professionals at work.

Two visits are planned in 2023, the first being 3-13 May. In addition, a documentary on the work is due to be screened in April. KUKHA members will be informed of details as soon as they are available.
