H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi hold the Prime Cabinet docket and is the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs. Dr Mudavadi is an economist. He has held various Cabinet portfolios, including Marketing & Supplies, Finance, Transport, Information Technology & Communications, and Agriculture and Local Government. Dr. Mudavadi was instrumental in reviving the economy post-1992 General Elections following high inflation as Minister for Finance. He is also a peace-maker, having led the ODM Party into peace talks in the Kenya National Dialogue & Reconciliation Process under Kofi Anan [Late] as the Chief Negotiator. Mudavadi is a member of the Kenya Kwanza alliance and has been a Member of Parliament for the Sabatia Constituency from 1989 to 2002 and again from 2007 to 2013.
