Aden Bare Duale EGH, is the Cabinet Secretary for Health. Hon Duale has previously served in various capacities, including as the Cabinet Secretary for Defence and later for the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry. He was first elected as a Member of Parliament for Garissa Township Constituency in 2007 and has been a Member of Parliament for three consecutive terms.
Duale is a founding member of several political parties and has been instrumental in sponsoring numerous government bills. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Education from Moi University and an MBA from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology
