Hon P S Mary Muthoni Muriuki CBS HSC is the Principal Secretary for Health and Professional Standards under the Ministry of Health. M/S Muthoni has a diverse educational background, holding a Bachelor of Education from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. PS Muthoni has held various leadership roles, including the first female Director at the Kenya National Chambers of Commerce & Industry and the founder of St-Petroc Premier School. She is also the founder of the Women in Business Magazine and the Women in Business Awards Kenya. Her contributions have been recognized with the 2017 Devolution Warrior Award and the Africa Business Leaders Award in gender. Muthoni's leadership extends to her role as Chairperson of the Africa Health Permanent/Principal Secretaries, where she focuses on coordination, implementation, and fundraising for health sector initiatives
